a Voluntary Development Organization was founded in July 04, 1997 by a group of social workers. The word BASTOB means practical. BASTOB's Goal is empowerment of its stakeholders through establishing a people's initiated development process and by ensuring their socio-economic development.  On May 06, 1998 BASTOB was registered with the NGO Affairs Bureau, registration number FD-1263/98. Later on it was also registered with the Societies Act No.  S-3161(126)2003
