The 15th Annual General Meeting of BASTOB was held on 7th August 2008 at 5.30 pm at its office 4/7 Humayun Road, Block-B, Mohammadpur, Dhaka-1207. Dr. Golam Samdani Fakir, the chairperson of the organization presided over the meeting. Other members present were Ms. Sharmind Neelormi, Vice-chariperson, Md. Giasuddin Ahmed, Treasurer, Ms. Shamsun Nahar Ahmed member, Md. Osman Ghoni, Member, Mr. Ruhi Das Secretary and other members. Among the staff Md. Jamal Hossain, Ranjit Ch. Das, Harinarayan Das, Rustom Ali Mollah and Mrs. Jahanara Ibrahim were present.
In the meeting Annual Report of 2007, audit report 2008 and budget for 2008 were approved.
New project ideas were discussed which include initiation of social activities from 5% service charge of micro finance. |
