Goethe Tagore Academy (GTA) proudly commemorated International Mother Language Day 2025 with heartfelt tributes and active student participation, honoring the language martyrs of Ekushey February. The school campus was filled with a sense of pride, reflection, and cultural unity as teachers and young learners gathered to pay their deepest respects to the heroes of 1952.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event began with a symbolic homage at the school\u2019s Shaheed Minar, where students laid flowers and stood in silence to honor those who sacrificed their lives for the right to speak in their mother tongue. Dressed in traditional black-and-white attire, children carried placards, recited poems, and sang songs that reflected the depth and emotion of the historic day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSeeing our youngest students take part in commemorating the Language Movement is truly inspiring,\u201d said a GTA teacher. \u201cIt\u2019s not just about history\u2014it\u2019s about planting the seeds of love and respect for our mother tongue in every generation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
